Task was to redesign and update current griffin logo to one with much more personality and balance, modern look with touch of tradition. Hummingbird logo for a non-profit charity

After experimenting with grids in my designs, I used my own technique that makes the whole concept look more natural and proportional. The main aim was to create a logo different from the classic 'text below icon' and try and make both elements work with one another. I decided to use gradients in order to add some depth, as I thought that made the bird look alive and more dynamic. I also customised the font in order to add to the memorability and uniqueness of the logo.

For this design, I started by customizing the wordmark. I was looking at the text on drum machines and created something in the same vein with both curved and beveled edges. Likewise, for the letter mark, I created a 3x3 square grid for each letter then curved the edges to create a pattern reminiscent of drum pads.

Sticky Notes logo concept. Most UX is done on whiteboards and with sticky notes as it helps visualize better, what should be used and what not.
